How to Perform Sampling During IQC (Inward Quality Check) in ManufApp
Objective
To perform sampling-based IQC when receiving materials, ensuring efficient inspection by checking a sample from each batch based on predefined rules.
Steps
Before Proceeding, see:
How to configure sampling levels in ManufApp
How to add a new Critical To Quality (CTQ) parameter in ManufApp
How to create a manual inward request without PO in ManufApp
Now go to transaction → inward, where you see IQC pending and perform IQC.
Navigate to the IQC screen where incoming material batches are pending inspection.
Select the batch for inspection (e.g., UI25GRN-0203).
ManufApp will automatically calculate the required sampling quantity based on batch size and predefined rules.

Step 2 – Inspection Results for Sampling
Perform the inspection for the required sample size.
If all samples pass, the batch is accepted without further inspection.
If any sample fails, the system will flag the remaining batch for full inspection (detailed QC).

Step 3 – Document and Submit Results
For each sample, record observations (e.g., Moisture Content, Wireage).
Upload any relevant documents or images for failed samples.
If all samples pass, the batch is accepted. If any fail, the remaining quantity is flagged for full inspection.
Step 4 – Finalizing the IQC
Once all the inspections are completed based on the sampling results, submit the IQC results.
If the entire batch is accepted, it will move forward in the process; if not, the remaining items will require detailed inspection.
Conclusion
With sampling levels set in the IQC process, ManufApp ensures that only a portion of each batch is inspected based on predefined rules. This reduces quality inspection time and speeds up material clearance for production.
Key Benefits
Efficient Quality Checks with sampling-based inspections.
Faster processing for accepted batches.
Full inspection only when necessary (if any sample fails).
Seamless documentation of inspection results and observations.
