Who can perform IQC and what details are recorded?

Only users with the appropriate roles (usually from the Quality or Stores team) can perform IQC.

During the IQC process, the following are recorded:

  • Rejection Reason (e.g., Crack, Rust, Bubbling) from a dropdown list

  • Rejected Quantity (how many pieces were found defective)

  • Remarks (optional, for traceability or investigation)

If the material has no issues, the user can mark it as “All OK” without entering rejection details.

This ensures consistent inspection and structured documentation for every batch received.
