Production Entry – Work Order Case
Objective
To guide users on recording production in Work Order mode in ManufApp.
In this mode, production entries are linked to a planned Work Order created by the Planning/Production team. This ensures accurate progress tracking, BOM consumption, and capacity planning.
Steps to Record Production in Work Order Case
Navigate to Production → Production Reports.
Select the Machine, Date, Shift, and Interval.
From the Work Order dropdown, select the required WO Number.
Click Submit.
The system will auto-fetch planned details from the selected Work Order.
Under the Production tab, review the fetched details (Item Code, Item Name, planned quantity).
Enter the Production Quantity achieved in Alternate and Primary UOM.
The system will map it back to the Work Order.
(Optional) Add remarks if needed (e.g., WO progress update).
Click Submit to save the entry.
Conclusion
When using Work Order mode, production entries are tied to a specific WO. The system automatically fetches planned details, tracks progress, and updates BOM consumption. This ensures accurate planning, traceability, and reporting for Make-to-Stock or Make-to-Order scenarios.
