Production Entry Against Work Order

🎯 Objective

To record production output against a planned Work Order (WO), ensuring proper tracking of finished quantities, rejections, and actual production progress.

 Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Go to Production Board

  • From the Home screen, tap Production Board.




Step 2: Select Machine / Section

  • Choose the relevant machine/production section (e.g., MI Section, SMT, Assembly).



Step 3: Locate the Work Order

  • The system shows the scheduled WO on the timeline.

  • Tap on the WO block to open details.




Step 4: Open Work Order Details

  • Screen shows:

    • WO Number (e.g., WO/2509007/01)

    • Customer & SO

    • Item to Produce

    • Delivery Due Date

    • Planned Qty (e.g., 1000 pcs).
      👉 Tap Enter Quantity.




Step 5: Enter Production Quantity

  1. Enter the produced quantity.

  2. (Optional) Add Rejections with reasons.

  3. Tap Enter Production.


Step 6: Review & Submit

  • System shows summary of entry:

    • Item

    • Quantity produced

    • Quantity rejected (if any)

  • Add remarks/downtime if applicable.

  • Tap Submit.




Step 7: Confirmation

  • The WO block updates on the Production Board.

  • Progress % reflects the entered quantity (e.g., 1000/1000 → 100%).




 Conclusion

Using Production Entry Against WO ensures:

  • All production is linked to planned orders.

  • Tracks actual vs planned output in real-time.

  • Captures rejections & downtime for quality and OEE monitoring.
