Production Entry Against Work Order

Production Entry Against Work Order

 Objective

The Production Board allows users to record actual production output against a planned Work Order. This helps teams track produced quantity, rejected quantity, pending quantity, and real production progress against the planned schedule.

 Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Go to Production Board

  • From the Home screen, tap Production Board.

Step 2: Select Machine / Section

  • Choose the relevant machine/production section (e.g., MI Section, SMT, Assembly).

Step 3: Locate the Work Order

  • The system shows the scheduled WO on the timeline.

  • Tap on the WO block to open details.

Step 4: Open Work Order Details

  • Screen shows:

    • WO Number (e.g., WO/2509007/01)

    • Customer & SO

    • Item to Produce

    • Delivery Due Date

    • Planned Qty (e.g., 1000 pcs).
      👉 Tap Enter Quantity.

Step 5: Enter Production Quantity

  1. Enter the produced quantity.

  2. (Optional) Add Rejections with reasons.

  3. Tap Enter Production.

Step 6: Review & Submit

  • System shows summary of entry:

    • Item

    • Quantity produced

    • Quantity rejected (if any)

  • Add remarks/downtime if applicable.

  • Tap Submit.

Step 7: Confirmation

  • The WO block updates on the Production Board.

  • Progress % reflects the entered quantity (e.g., 1000/1000 → 100%).

 Conclusion

Recording production against a Work Order ensures that all shop floor output is linked to planned production. It helps teams compare actual output with planned quantity, capture rejection and downtime details, monitor real-time progress, and maintain a clear digital audit trail for production tracking.
