Production Entry – Sales Order Case
Objective
To explain how to record production in Sales Order (SO) mode in ManufApp, where production is logged directly against a customer Sales Order. This is typically used for Make-to-Order, custom, or project-based manufacturing where no internal Work Order is created.
Steps to Record Production in Sales Order Case
Navigate to Production → Production Reports.

Select the Machine, Date, Shift, and Interval.

From the Sales Order dropdown, select the required SO Number.
Click Submit.
Under the Production tab
Select the Item Code / Item Name.

Click Submit to save the entry.

Conclusion
When recording in Sales Order mode, production is logged directly against a customer order. No internal planning is involved, making it ideal for custom or job-shop production. This ensures customer orders are tracked without requiring a Work Order.
