Step-by-Step Process

1) Open Machine Scheduling

  • Navigate to Planning & Scheduling → Machine Scheduling from the top menu.

  • The screen opens with a timeline view of all machines.

  • Click the plus (+) icon → Create Work Order.

  • For multiple items, use Bulk Plan.

5) Select Scheduling Rule

In the Schedule WO dialog, choose how to schedule:

  • After Last WO → queue after the last planned job.

  • After Another WO → place after a specific job.

  • Right Now → start immediately if machine is free.

  • At Specific Time → pick exact start time/date.

6) Enter Details

  • Verify items and process.

  • Enter WO Quantity.

  • Or click Plan All. or manually enter the Quantity

  • Then click Review Changes.

7) Review & Confirm

  • A review screen shows the proposed WO with sequence and timing.

  • Confirm details and click Create.

8) Verify WO Creation

  • A message appears: Work Order Created Successfully.

  • The WO block is visible on the machine timeline.

Conclusion

You have successfully created and scheduled a Work Order from the Machine Scheduling screen. The WO is now visible in the timeline and ready for execution tracking.
