Enable planners and production managers to generate a Load Chart from the Machine Scheduling screen, view scheduled Work Orders across machines and shifts, and export/download it for reporting.

Step-by-Step Process

1) Navigate to Machine Scheduling

  • Go to Planning & Scheduling → Machine Scheduling.

  • Select the date range and view (Day/Hours) as needed.

  • Example: Here, the selected date is 12th Sep 2025.

2) Open Load Chart

  • On the top-right action bar, click Load Chart.

  • This opens a detailed Load Chart window with Work Orders, Customers, Machines, and Processes.

3) Review the Load Chart

  • The Load Chart displays:

    • Work Order number

    • Sales Order reference

    • Customer name & reference

    • Planned start & end date/time

    • Machine allocation

    • Item & process

    • Planned quantity

  • You can filter by Machine and Shift for better clarity.

4) Export or Print Load Chart

  • Click the Download/Export icon (highlighted in the screenshot).

  • The system generates a PDF report containing the Work Orders scheduled for the selected date and machine/shift.

  • Example: LOAD CHART_Kaka Industries_12-Sep-2025.pdf.

5) Review PDF Output

  • Open the PDF to verify details.

  • The exported chart includes:

    • WO details (number, item, machine, process)

    • Start and end times

    • Planned quantities

    • Production/delay indicators

Conclusion

The Load Chart provides a consolidated view of machine schedules for the selected date.
By exporting it to PDF, you can easily share daily production plans with shopfloor, supervisors, or management teams.
