How to Create New Item on Manufapp


How to Add a New Item in Master Item New Item Module

  1. Access Item Masters:

    • First, click on Item Masters.

  2. Open Item Groups:

    • In the top left corner, click on Item Group.

    • You will now see all the item groups created in the system.

  3. Add an Item to a Group:

    • To add a new item to a specific group, click the plus (+) sign in the Action column next to that group.

  4. Enter Item Details:

    • A new interface will appear.

    • Assign a unique item code (e.g., WIP136).

    • Enter the item name (e.g., Bottle Cap 3).

  5. Set Attributes (if any):

    • If attributes for items are already created (e.g., Bottle Type), provide their details.

    • If attributes are not yet created, you will need to create them before proceeding.

  6. Specify Material Type:

    • For example, set the material type as Bottle Cap 3.

  7. Submit the Item:

    • After entering all necessary details, click on Submit.

  8. Verify the New Item:

    • Go back to the Item Group page.

    • Check the item group count to confirm that the new item has been added.

    • You will see the item (e.g., WIP136) listed under the selected group.

These steps explain how to add a new item to the system and assign it to an appropriate item group.
