How to Create a New Route in ManufApp
🎯 Objective
To define the sequence of processes that a product or WIP item must follow during production. Routing helps in ensuring proper process planning, accurate scheduling, and better traceability in manufacturing.
Step 1: Navigate to Route Creation
Go to the top menu → Masters → Click on Cycle Time Rules
Step 2: Open the Routes Tab
On the Cycle Time Rules page, click the “Routes” tab.
Step 3: Click “+ NEW”
On the top-right corner of the Routes page, click the “+ NEW” button to start creating a new route.
Step 4: Fill in Route Details
Route Name: Enter a unique name (e.g., Barcode_Print_Route)
Process: Select the process (e.g., BARCODE PRINT)
Item Group: Choose the item group this route applies to (e.g., PRINTING-WIP)
​Step 5: Submit
Click the Submit button to save your route.
Step 6: Verify Route
Go to the Routes list and confirm your new route appears with the correct process name and sequence.

By setting up a route, you enable ManufApp to track the correct sequence of operations for a product. This ensures process accuracy, helps automate production tracking, and supports efficient shop floor execution.
