How to Add a New Quality Issue in ManufApp

 Purpose:

Logging quality issues in ManufApp helps capture defects, breakdowns, or process problems in real time. This ensures accountability, traceability, and faster resolution through structured workflows.

Step 1: Go to Quality Master

Navigate to:
 Masters  > Quality

This section displays all existing quality issues raised in the system.

Step 2: Click on "+ NEW"

Click the + NEW button in the top-right corner to create a new issue.



Step 3: Enter Issue Details

Fill out the following fields:

  • Label: Short, clear title of the issue (e.g., Lathe M07 Spindle Failure)

  • Department: Select the responsible department (e.g., Production)

  • Severity: Choose how serious the issue is (Low, Medium, High)

  • Planned: Indicate if the issue was part of a planned activity or unexpected


Step 4: Add Item Group Tags (Optional but Recommended)

  1. Click Edit next to the Tags section.

  2. In the popup, go to the Item Groups tab.

  3. Select relevant tags (e.g., SO_WIP, USB_Cable_socket)

  4. Click Save to apply the selected tags.

These tags help link the issue to specific product groups or assemblies.




Step 5: Submit the Issue

Once all fields are filled, click Submit to save the issue.




✅ Result: Issue Logged Successfully

The issue will now appear in the Quality Issues list, along with its label, severity, department, and tags.
