How to Create an Outward Request to Production in ManufApp
To issue raw materials or semi-finished goods (RM/SFG) from inventory to the production floor, based on a Sales Order and BOM structure.
Step 1: Navigate to Outward Module
Go to
Inventory β Outward Request
Or
Go to:
Inventory β Transactions β Outward
Click the β+ Outwardβ button.
Step 2: Fill Header Information
Outward To β Select Production
Machine β Choose the WIP machine or section
Customer β Enter internal department name (optional)
Sales Order β Select relevant SO (auto-links BOM)
Invoice Number, Truck Number, Date β Fill as needed
Step 3: Issue Item by BOM
Click βIssue Item by BOMβ
The system auto-fills items required for production based on the SO's BOM
Adjust quantities if needed
Step 4: Review and Submit
Check item list (Item Code, Name, Quantity)
Click Submit
β Your Outward Request is submitted for approval.
