How to Create an Item in ManufApp

ManufApp makes item creation fast and intelligent by auto-filling key fields based on your selections. This reduces manual work and ensures consistency across your item master.

Step 1: Go to Items Master

Navigate to:
Masters > Items

Step 2: Click β€œ+ NEW”

Click the + NEW button on the top-right to add a new item.

Step 3: Select Item Group

Once you select the Item Group (e.g., Shirt), the system auto-generates:

  • Item Code

  • Item Type

  • Unit

  • SKU Group Tags

πŸ”„ This saves time and standardizes item setup.

Step 4: Fill in Attributes

Now fill the specific attributes for the item:

  • Size (e.g., L)

  • Color (e.g., GREEN)

  • Material (e.g., COTTON)

Once these are selected, Item Name is auto-generated (e.g., SHIRT COTTON GREEN-L).

✏️ You can edit the Item Name if needed before submitting.

Step 6: Click Submit

Click Submit to save the item. It now appears in the item list and is ready for use in BOM, production, and tracking.

βœ… Smart Automation Saves Time

ManufApp automatically configures much of the item data based on your item group setup, reducing repetitive entry and human error.
