To ensure efficient inventory control and prevent stockouts or overstocking, it's important to define Minimum and Maximum Levels for each item within a warehouse. This guide walks you through both manual and bulk upload methods for setting inventory levels in the ManufApp system.
Go to: Masters → Warehouses
You’ll see a list of warehouses (e.g., PDI, Test Warehouse).
Click on the desired warehouse name (e.g., PDI (pre dispatch)).
Inside the warehouse details page, locate and click the "Set Levels" button on the top-right.
A table opens under Set Minimum/Maximum Levels
Enter:
Item
Min Quantity
Max Quantity
Unit
Click on "Add New Row" if you want to define levels for multiple items.
Once done, hit Submit to save.
From the “Set Levels” page, click the upload icon (top-right corner) to upload a file.
Your file should include the following headers:
Item, Item Group, Item Name, Minimum, Maximum, Unit
Example row:
FAN-CAP, Test Item Group, FAN Cap, 100, 200, piece
Drag or upload your file into the popup.
Make sure file type is .csv
Click Submit File
You’ll see the file name and confirmation options.
Click Submit File to finalize and save all inventory levels in bulk.
Setting inventory levels helps maintain optimal stock availability and supports better planning, procurement, and warehouse management. You can update levels anytime using either the manual form or the bulk upload option depending on your operational need.
