Manual Entry + Bulk Upload (CSV)

📌 Overview

To ensure efficient inventory control and prevent stockouts or overstocking, it's important to define Minimum and Maximum Levels for each item within a warehouse. This guide walks you through both manual and bulk upload methods for setting inventory levels in the ManufApp system.

🔹 Manual Method: Set Inventory Levels

Step 1: Navigate to Warehouse Master

  • Go to: Masters  → Warehouses


Step 2: Select the Warehouse

  • You’ll see a list of warehouses (e.g., PDI, Test Warehouse).

  • Click on the desired warehouse name (e.g., PDI (pre dispatch)).


Step 3: Click "Set Levels"

  • Inside the warehouse details page, locate and click the "Set Levels" button on the top-right.



Step 4: Add Min/Max Levels Manually

  • A table opens under Set Minimum/Maximum Levels

  • Enter:

    • Item

    • Min Quantity

    • Max Quantity

    • Unit

  • Click on "Add New Row" if you want to define levels for multiple items.

  • Once done, hit Submit to save.



🔹 Bulk Upload Method: Upload via CSV

Step 1: Go to Set Levels → Upload Icon

  • From the “Set Levels” page, click the upload icon (top-right corner) to upload a file.



Step 2: Prepare Your CSV

Your file should include the following headers:

Item, Item Group, Item Name, Minimum, Maximum, Unit


Example row:

FAN-CAP, Test Item Group, FAN Cap, 100, 200, piece




Step 3: Upload the CSV

  • Drag or upload your file into the popup.

  • Make sure file type is .csv

  • Click Submit File



Step 4: Confirm Upload

  • You’ll see the file name and confirmation options.

  • Click Submit File to finalize and save all inventory levels in bulk.
