How to Book/Unbook (RM/WIP/FG) against a Customer Order


Objective:

To guide users on how to book and unbook RM/WIP/FG inventory against a customer order in ManufApp to ensure accurate inventory management.

Steps to Book Inventory:

  1. Navigate to Sales Orders:

    • Go to Orders → Sales Orders in the dashboard.



  1. Find the Sales Order:

    • Locate the relevant sales order (e.g., Unit 1/2509/010) and click on it.



  1. View Item Details:

    • In the sales order details, check the Ordered Quantity and Required Quantity.





  1. Book Inventory:

    • Click on the Book Inventory button.

    • Select the relevant inventory type (e.g., FG, WIP, or Raw Material).

    • Make sure the Ordered Quantity matches the Required Quantity.

    • Or Click Book All and then Submit to confirm 






Steps to Unbook Inventory:

  1. Navigate Back to Book Inventory:

    • Return to the Book Inventory window for the relevant sales order.




  1. Unbook Inventory:

    • In the Book Items section, reduce the Booked Quantity by entering the amount to unbook.

    • Click Submit to confirm the changes.






Final Confirmation:

  • After booking or unbooking, check the Sales Order page to ensure the Booked Quantity is updated correctly.
