How to Upload Work Instructions in ManufApp?
Work Instructions are detailed documents that guide operators on how to manufacture a particular item. In ManufApp, you can attach these directly to the item so they’re always accessible during production.
Step 1: Go to Items Master
Navigate to:
Masters > Items

Step 2: Search and Select the Item
Search for the item you want to configure.

Click on the item name to open its detail view.


Step 3: Go to the Work Instructions Tab
In the item details screen, click the Work Instructions tab from the top bar.

Step 4: Click to Upload
You’ll see a button labeled Click to Upload.

Step 5: Submit the File
After uploading, the filename will be shown (e.g., WORK_INSTRUCTION.pdf).
Click Submit File to save it.

Step 6: View or Replace Instructions
Once submitted:
The uploaded file appears under the Work Instructions tab.
You can click to view, download, or replace the file as needed.

Your Work Instruction is now linked to the item. Operators can access it directly during job execution, ensuring standardized, error-free production.
