How to Define Batch Size in ManufApp

Batch Sizes in ManufApp help you issue materials and run production in fixed, controlled quantities. This promotes inventory accuracy, standardization, and better production planning.

Step 1: Go to Items Master

Navigate to:
Masters > Items


 


Step 2: Search and Select the Item

Search for the item you want to configure.
📌 Example: ITEM00018

Click on the item name to open its detail view.






Step 3: Open the Batch Sizes Tab

Click on the Batch Sizes tab in the item view.
You’ll see two sections:

  • Standard Lot Issuance

  • Production Lot Size









Step 4: Set Standard Lot Issuance

This defines how materials are issued in fixed quantities for this item.
For example:

  • Enter 10

  • Select unit: piece

Click Add Pack Size to confirm.

Step 5: Set Production Lot Size

This defines how much is produced in one production run or batch.
For example:

  • Enter 24

  • Select unit: piece

Click Add Pack Size to confirm.


Step 6: Submit

Once both fields are filled, click Submit to save the configuration.

Your Batch Size is now defined. This will streamline:

  • Material issuance

  • Batch production tracking

  • Lot-based reporting and control
