How to Create a Sticker Template in ManufApp

To guide users in configuring a sticker template (QR Code or Barcode) for machines, packs, or items, enabling efficient scanning and traceability on the shop floor.


🛠️ Steps to Create a Sticker Template


1. Navigate to Sticker Templates

Go to:
Masters > Sticker Templates



Click the + NEW button on the top right.


2. Select Sticker Template Type

From the popup window:

  • Choose Sticker Template (e.g., Machine or Pack Type)

  • Select the specific Machine (e.g., WIP Section)


3. Choose Sticker Type

  • Select the format under Type:

    • Barcode

    • QR Code

QR Code is ideal for mobile scanning and storing multiple key-value fields.




4. Configure Keys and Separator

  • Primary Key: Choose a key field (e.g., Item Name)



  • Secondary Keys: You can select multiple fields (e.g., Work Order, Customer Item Name)



  • Separator: Define how the values are joined (e.g., /, -)

  • Preview of the code is shown live



5. Set Format and Size

  • Format: Choose between Basic, List, Table etc.

  • Size: Set label size in mm (optional)


6. Submit the Template

Click Submit to save your sticker template.

Your newly created template will now be available in the list and can be used in print layouts or scanning flows.
