🆕 Feature Release: Assembly Line Tracking

1. Overview

The new Assembly Line Tracking feature allows users to group machines from different sections (e.g., Cutting, Welding, Painting) into a single production line for easier monitoring.
 This enables true line-wise performance tracking in the Hourly Dashboard.

2. Problem Statement

Previously:

  • Users could only track production by individual machine or section.

  • Machines across multiple sections couldn’t be grouped under a single assembly line.

  • This made it difficult to track end-to-end hourly performance for a complete line.

3. Changes Implemented

3.1 Line Creation in Masters

  • A new Lines tab has been introduced under Masters → Machines.

  • Users can:

    • Create a Line and assign machines from different sections.

    • Define the sequence in which machines appear.

    • Edit or deactivate lines as needed.

3.2 Line View in Hourly Dashboard

  • A new Line filter has been added to the Hourly Dashboard.

  • Selecting a line displays only the machines linked to it.

  • Enables users to track hourly performance per line instead of only per section.
